А-100 will Cheer Minsk up on Minsk City Day
08 September 2014| September 12 - 14 the Belarusian Federation of Aerial Sports supported by A-100 Group of Companies and Aerotour-Balloons will hold in the recreation park "Sun Valley" (Minsk, 45 Korzhenevskogo St.) a unique event – Belarus’ First Open International Aeronautics Championship, the main pearl of which will be the unforgettable shining of hot air balloons at night. Hot air balloon show is a totally new alternative to the traditional events held in Minsk on Minsk City Day. This year Minsk residents will get a new entertaining format to celebrate this event.
Friday, September 12, will feature the start of the competition which will be attended by over 20 teams of hot-air balloonists from around the world including Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania and others. On this day if the weather conditions are favorable, the first night rides will take place at 18.00. On September 13, besides morning (7.00-9.00) and evening (18.00-20.30) hot air balloon rides there will be an interesting celebration program organized jointly with the Administration of Oktyabrsky District: bike show, street performances of the Belarusian musicians, breathtaking knights’ tournaments, horse and pony riding and the most interesting event is the show of hot air balloons shining at night (21.30-22.30). On Sunday’s morning, September 14, there are some other rides scheduled (7.00-9.00) and the Championship’s award ceremony. Within the three days of the Championship the visitors will have a chance to have a ride on an A-100’s helicopter. Some events included into the program may change, because the man upstairs still controls the weather. Attendance of these events is free. Come with your family!
