About 10 thousand people took part in the special campaign "Get a Bike for a "THANK YOU!"

On August 29 in the Pobedy Park we summed up the results of the special summer event "Get a Bike for a "Thank You" Within 1.5 summer months free bikes were used almost 10.000 times.

On August 29 in the Pobedy Park we summed up the results of the special summer event "Get a Bike for a "Thank You" Within 1.5 summer months free bikes were used almost 10.000 times. Besides Belarusians there were residents of 15 foreign countries, including Libya, the United States, China, United Kingdom, riding bikes for a "Thank You" in the center of Minsk. A kind of record was set by Natalia Grigorievna Kolesnikova who rented a branded orange bicycle 28 times! The oldest cyclist during the time of the project was an 82-year-old pensioner from Minsk.

The rental station of 15 bikes which has already become a kind of symbol of this summer cycling season in Minsk was officially handed over to Pervomaisky District. 10 bikes, including some new Aist bikes were handed over to Minsk orphanage No. 7.

"Today, we are proud that the project was really needed and relevant. For this we would like to say "thank you" to the city authorities who gave us the opportunity to place free bike rentals nearby the central avenues of Minsk which was a key factor for the project to be popular with the public"- says Nadezhda Matveenok, a member of the Supervisory Board of A-100 Group of Companies.

The main objective of this city’s social campaign has been achieved: we have managed to involve lots of people in the cycling movement. And if you look around, you will notice that today many Minsk residents really prefer and love this means of transport.
